2023 Columbia-Montour Council Merit Badge College - Merit Badge List
The merit badges that will be offered at the 2023 Merit Badge College are listed below. You may click on the "Requirements" link to download the full information sheet which includes all the requirements with the prerequisites indicated in BOLD. The time period for each badge, maximum capacity, and instructor (clickable link to email) are also listed for each badge along with a link (clickable) to the workbook for that badge.
GENERAL NOTES TO ALL SCOUTS:
- Scouts are reminded that, the first step in the Merit badge completion process is to have a discussion with their Scoutmaster before they register for any classes and/or begin work on any merit badge(s).
- Scouts are required to obtain the merit badge handbook for each merit badge that they wish to complete, study its contents and be prepared to discuss all requirements with the counselor.
- All items listed in bold type on the Merit Badge requirements sheets for each badge MUST be completed prior to the event and emailed to your counselor at least 2 weeks before MBC.
- Scouts are encouraged, but not required, to download and use the merit badge workbook for each merit badge that they wish to complete, and have all requirements filled out before they arrive the day of the event.
Note about capacity - Merit Badge sessions will be filled on a first-come first-served basis, so be sure to sign-up early to get your desired merit badge classes!
